Moredun goes back to school for National Science and Engineering Week

Members of Moredun’s Education Group were invited along to a local primary school to lend a hand to their celebrations of all things scientific.

Stobhill Primary School in Gorebridge organised a variety of activities as part of National Science Week (11th -20th March) and Moredun were delighted to help the children and teachers emerge themselves in the world of science.

Taking along activities from our educational exhibitions, P6 and P7 pupils were given an insight into the work of Moredun and how our work not only affects the world of animal health but also has an effect on everyday lives too.

It was a thoroughly enjoyable morning and a great opportunity to get out and about in our local community.  Not only did the visit raise awareness of the importance of Moredun’s work but hopefully our STEM Ambassadors managed to provoke some more curiosity and interest in science in general.
