Working Environment
The Moredun Group employs over 230 staff in a range of roles and in a variety of working patterns. Real value is placed on the contribution that staff make to the organisation's remit and Moredun constantly strives to improve current working practices to safeguard the health and productivity of those it employs.
Moredun has a number of it's own initiatives that allow its staff to balance work and home life; flexible working patterns, sabbaticals and formal flexitime policies are in place as well as the opportunity for staff to request a permanent or temporary change in hours or working patterns should the need arise. By adopting a flexible approach, Moredun believes that it is offering the best opportunities for its staff to develop a happy work/life balance.
Moredun is also committed to ensuring that each member of staff is treated according to their individual needs and is able to work in an open, non-discriminatory environment. All staff, visitors and contractors at Moredun attend a mandatory Diversity training course as part of their induction programme to the group.
Recent staff surveys have shown that staff place high value on the working environment and it is believed that this contributes to high morale and low turnover among the workforce.
